Guerrillas exiting tank. I wanted to photograph this from the perspective of another rebel soldier moving towards the square. The guerilla at top is VLADIMIR CRUZ, playing Ramiro Valdes. In real life Valdes fought with Fidel in the failed first attack on Batista’s Moncada army barracks in Santiago de Cuba on the 26th of July 1953, and later became a venerable Cuban politician.
